Rules & Regulations
1) Last date of registration for Sports Day is 8th May and for other events is on 20th May.
2) Those who are unable to fill/submit online forms, can contact to event in charge for the required help.

4) Spot Registrations are not allowed.
5 ) Judges decision will be final decision, arguing on judges decision may lead to disqualification.
6) Limited entries on first come first serve basis.
Organizers have all rights to make changes in any event at any moment of time***
Age groups:
• Group A - 5 to 7 years
• Group B - 8 to 10 years
• Group C - 11 to 15 years
• Group D - 16 to 20 years
• Group E - 21 year and above
1. This is an individual event open for all age groups.
2. For Sports events, participants must register on our website - virsafoundation.in
3. The participant must arrive on time for the event.
4. The decision of the volunteers will be final.
5. Disqualification will be imposed if any form of disruption occurs during the event.

Participants of any age group are welcome to be a part of turban tying competition.
• Each participant will be given 5 minutes to tie Turban.
• Once they are done with their turban tying they will be asked questions based on our culture, history of sikhism ,etc.
• Competition will be held at Gurudwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar.
• Boys can Tie turban or dumalla both and girls can tie dumalla.
• Base of the turban/ dumalla should be ready before the competition starts.
• We will expect co-ordination and co-operation from every participant.
1. This is an individual event, open for all age group.
2. Topic should be related to Sikhism and current circumstances of Sikhs.
3. Participants should not draw any of our Sikh Gurus.
4. All art work has to be done at the venue only.
5. Bringing of ready-made artwork is not allowed.
6. Participants must carry their required materials along with them.
7. Time Limit - 1hr 30mins.
Examples: T-shirt painting, Glass painting, Clay models, Collage making, Drawing, Poster Making and so on.
Note: Kids below 7years will be given printed sheets. (Age group A)
Open for all, above 15 years can make digital posters, etc.
-This competition will be held at Panchayati Gurudwara.
-Participants must be ready 15mins before the given time.
-Each one will be given the time of 2mins to speak on their subject.
-We will have judges asking few questions.
-Judges decision will be final, anyone found arguing with judges will be disqualified.
-Participants are not allowed to Portray them self as GURU sahib.
-Participants extending time limit may be marked negative.

Participants who have registered for Gurbani Kanth Competition will be informed about the time slot of the competition.
All the age groups can participants in this competition
1. No Gutkas or any Pothi is allowed.
2. Bani has to be shudh (marks will be deducted if bani is not shudh).
3. Judges will allot specific time and you have to be available at that time.
4. Judges can also ask questions from participants related to bani.
5. This competition will be held at Gurudwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar.
> 12 yrs and above age group can participate in this event. (Age Group - C, D & E)
> Presentation will be held in Gurudwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar.
> Voice should be clear. (Participant to take a trial before the event by own)
> Topic must be based on Sikhism. (Current Issues Preferred)
> Judges will inform you about the time slot.
> Judges may ask questions related to presentation.
> Presentation should not exceed 5 mins.
> Participant have to be available at the given time slot.
• Speaking
>Participants will have to speak on the given topic.
>The topic will be simple and related to Sikhism.
>Each Participant will be given 1 minute to think on the given topic.
>Participants are required to speak for 2 minutes on given topic.
•Reading
>Each participant will be given a paragraph to read.
•Writing
>Each participant is required to write 10-12 sentences on the given topic.
>Judgement of writing will be done on the basis of correctness on the grammar, punctuations and creativity.

5.Reels should be related to sikhism

7.Submission will be done on instagram by collaboration with VIRSA FOUNDATION
8. reels can be of 30/60/90 secs
9. Judgement will be done on 13th May.
Reels with maximum likes ,Comments ,shares will be the winner
Unlimited numbers of Reels can be uploaded before 11th may there are no restrictions on number of reels
Submission steps:
Create reel > Select Next > Tag people > invite Collaborator > select virsa.foundation
We will review and approve / deny based on content.
